Haight To Run 5K
HAIGHT TO RUN 5K
 For those runners who are looking for a scenic, yet challenging 5K (3.1 mile) Cross Country run, look no further than the Haight to Run 5K set for the fields, vineyards and trails surrounding Haight-Brown Vineyard at 29 Chestnut Hill Road in Litchfield. It's one of the most beautiful 5K cross country courses in America!
The race starts and finishes in the vineyards by the winery crossing over Chestnut Hill Road to the trails of White's Woods which takes the runners on a stone out-cropped path down the hill to the Bantam River over a bridge and up a hill almost to Litchfield's South Street, where they will turn around and head back a different trail to the finish line. There's even going to be a free fun run for the kids!!!
The race itself is a tough and hilly course with outcropped rocks and the flowing Bantam River with a few other trails thrown in, plus the start and finish running around the vineyards main field near the office and winery facilities.

The age groups are: 18 and under; 19 to 29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60 and over. The top three finishers for men and women will receive special bottles of Haight-Brown wine.
