In the category of “you're not going to believe this!” comes Dave Hopla, the world's greatest basketball shooter of all time! Sure the UConn Huskies can shoot and so can those guys in the NBA, but Dave Hopla is a phenomenal shot and a tremendous instructor and he brings his unique abilities to Litchfield County on the weekend of December 12th and 13th.
Litchfield Parks and Recreation has teamed up with the Torrington PAL Basketball league to organize shooting clinics with Dave Hopla.
The younger boys and girls, in grades 5-8 will have their clinics in the mornings of both days from 8:30 am until 11:30 am at the Forman School Gymnasium.
The high school players will have their shooting clinics at Torrington's Vogel-Wetmore School in the afternoons from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm.
Dave has taught shooting to Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Gilbert Arenas, and Caron Butler, just to name of few. For the inside scoop on Dave Hopla go to his website at www.davehopla.com and see all his unbelievable shooting statistics.
