Mission
The mission of the Litchfield Parks & Recreation Department is to improve the quality of life for all citizens through creative and meaningful leisure experiences.
This is accomplished through:
 The provision of a comprehensive program of healthful and educational recreational activities for persons of all ages and abilities regardless of race, religious affiliation or disability. The provisions of safe, attractive and well-maintained parks & recreation facilities. All staff is committed to offering quality programs and services in a friendly and courteous manner.
