JINGLE BELL RUN 5K

The second-oldest race in the town of Litchfield is getting ready for its 26th running when the reindeers and elves and runners and walkers participate in the Jingle Bell Run 5K on Dec. 6 at noon. (The Litchfield Hills Road Race is the oldest race in town.)
The race registration will be at the Litchfield Intermediate School on Plumb Hill Road in Litchfield beginning at 10:30 a.m. and continuing until just about race time. Runners and walkers, old and young, fast and slow can test their skills on the 5K (3.1 miles) course. Winners of the race will win a Christmas tree. First-place finishers in each age group will win awards. The first 125 entrants will receive a unique souvenir of their participation in the race.

Age Groups
There will be a special prize given to the best holiday theme outfits for child, teen and adult. The prize is for costumes only. Race results do not matter in this category.
Race forms are available The Village Restaurant, Murphy's Pharmacy, Sportsmen's of Litchfield, Road and Track Sports in New Milford, or the Litchfield Parks and Recreation office.
