These week long Horsemanship Sessions are for any horse crazy kids, ages 7-14.  Whether they have experience or have never even been up close to a horse, by the weeks end they will know all about: safety, leading properly, grooming, tack and tacking up their horse, health issues, proper care, the horses way of thinking……. And of course, riding, with and without saddles.

One of the greatest times is the “students teach instructors” day which is the last day, Friday.  Family is invited to arrive at 12 p.m. to learn a bit from their kids about the equine world, not to mention see their kids ride!  After, we either have a barbecue lunch or pizza.

June 25 - 29
July 9 - 13
July 30 - August 3
August 20 - 24
Other activities are:
Getting wet (swimming pond or the great slip n' slide)
Hiking in Mohawk State Forest (right up the street)
Arts and Crafts
Videos
Time is 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Cost is $400.00
Limited number of spots available so please call/email asap to request a registration form.

Also offered is the
 4 - 6 year old Mini Horsemanship Sessions
They run for 3 consecutive days from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Fee: $225.00 per session
(includes snacks and drink.)
Limited to 4 kids per session.

These are for the younger kids to get exposure to the world of horses.
Safety, grooming, riding and just being around the barn environment.

Individual lessons in Western and English also available for all ages.
